Tian-Shun Chen, a migrant worker, is often told off by his employer. One day, after getting off work, he goes to a betel nut stand and has dinner with Wei Li, a man working as a betel nut beauty.
A few days later, two weird customers try to pick on Wei. At the same time, Tian-Shun conflicts with his employer and gets fired. Later, he tells Wei what just happened. After they have some drinks, Tian-Shun kisses him. Wei is shocked and pushes him away. When Wei is going to leave work, the weird workers come and harass him. At night, he can’t help sobbing in his room. In the following days, Tian-Shun loses touch with him.
After Tian-Shun has adapted to the new job, his employer introduces him to a new colleague, Wei Li. Finally, Tian-Shun reveals his feelings to him.
