After Ebbe finds his best friend Vitus lying in bed, choking on his own vomit as a result of Ebbe’s decisions, he is catapulted into a physical and psychological journey. Here he assumes Vitus’ identity and grapples with the guilt and shame he struggles to place, a struggle that includes meeting other lonely people as well as an anthropomorphic being that shares traits with his deceased friend.
