KARNIVOOL ‘OPAL’

This concept video speaks to the inner turmoil that every human will recognise at one point or another in their life. To be human is to feel – both the good and the bad. It’s also human to at times struggle with life. As people, we suppress thoughts and feelings as we wrestle with damage we’ve experienced by our own hand, someone else’s hand or simply by unfortunate circumstance.
Despite these thoughts and feelings being locked away in small areas of our being, they can often feel too big to overcome. Problems can often turn into giant emotions that may very well lead to a wake of destruction in our lives. Our concept for the OPAL music video turns the metaphorical sleeping giant into a literal one. Humanity inadvertently awakens the sleeping giant that lies within all of us.
