Layla and Sasan’s paths cross unexpectedly when a brick crashes through the window of her family’s bookstore, injuring Layla. When they meet in the hospital, Sasan is immediately drawn to Layla’s beauty, intellect, and the way she thinks. As they spend more time together, their connection deepens, and Sasan is intrigued by Layla’s faith, a faith he had little knowledge of before.
