Thomas Fontein (25) seems to have it all: a strong wife, a respected position within the Pentecostal church, and the charisma to inspire young people. But one day, when it becomes clear that church leader Daniel has very different plans for Thomas’s future in the church, he falls into a crisis of faith. Thomas doesn’t want to
disappoint his loving family and wife but is increasingly troubled by the life he feels trapped in. Everyone around him seems so certain, but when Thomas asks God for guidance, all he hears is a deafening silence.
Once a role model and leader of a youth group, Thomas begins to transform into a loner, drawn more and more to life outside the church. As he risks becoming an outcast within his own community, Thomas must either repent or face rejection. In a tense confrontation with Daniel, Thomas searches for a way back to himself. Is there room in the church for the doubts he feels? Or will Thomas be cast out from the one place where he found security and warmth?
